We were very lucky to have another long weekend when the kids had a Friday off from school in October. Mom and I took another vacation day and this time headed down to Orlando with a little bit of a different plan. We had a fun day participating in the resort activities on Friday and then on Friday night we went out to dinner where Grant and Grr met us. It wasn't a girls weekend anymore.
Considering we are a family that can't stand amusement parks for a few reasons including the heat, the heat while standing in line and the heat while standing in line with rude people we sure did go to a bunch of parks this year. After going to Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Sea World I have to say that LegoLand has won.
For those of you who are considering a visit to LegoLand I highly recommend it for children around Adelaide's age. She was able to ride almost every ride, the shows were geared towards her and there were a lot of them also the park is small enough that they really didn't use the strollers that much and were able to walk around. This was our first visit, but as we walked in it felt a bit like dejavu because I hadn't been there since it was Cypress Gardens.
We had pumpkin cookies, drove cars and boats, played in cities made of bricks and of course we had to hit the roller coasters.

| Hump Day! |
Just before we left for the afternoon the girls had time for a little trick or treating and shopping of course.
The crown jewel of pictures and events has to be shared. Russ has not been on a roller coaster since he was a teenager, but if there is anyone in the world to convince him to do it Adelaide will and did. This picture definitely summed up our day.
