Isn't it amazing how Fall activities can bring anyone and everyone out of the house? We took a day to play with the animals and walk amongst the corn. Not exactly poetry, but it's the truth. First stop was Chick-Fil-A, our CFA does an incredible job of entertaining and feeding the community. They had a petting zoo, craft fair, cake walk and bounce houses or the kids. Adelaide was terrified of the animals, but we did convince her to touch one or two.
After the animals we moved onto the cake walk and no surprise here, Penelope and Adelaide kept messing with the cow's tail. The good news is that we did win a giant cookie cake which we devoured later in the day.
After CFA we had about a 45 minute ride to our next stop. We hoped that the kids would fall asleep, but that didn't happen. We drove out to the middle of nowhere so that we could go to another petting zoo, wander the corn maze, take a corn bath and enjoy some good family fun. The big girls favorite part was that they were able to take plenty of selfies with a cute background. I don't think that the little girls made it out of the parking lot before they passed out in the car.
