Every single Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday you can find us on a soccer field. One little monster is playing, another is crying and the parents are trying to figure out why they signed the kids up for this activity anyway.

| Hey kid, where do your socks go? |
This is Nooper's first year to play soccer and we were all sure that she would go storming onto the field and be the champ of the team. We are talking about the kid who is scared of nothing that might actually cause her harm and she has been trying to play with Adelaide's team for years. Imagine our surprise when the kid did nothing but cry on the field. As a mom I was completely frustrated by the whole thing because she had no problem running around Adelaide's practices, but when it came to her own she froze. When we were all cheering for her in hopes that she would actually move it scared her and she would start crying all over again.

| Apparently there is crying in soccer. |
 |
| Thank goodness for Coach Crystal or else P never would have stayed on the field. |
 |
| It will be ok Sissy. |
Go Pirates!
P may not have loved or liked soccer this season, but Adelaide seemed to get the hang of it. She may have spent more time playing with the strings on her shorts than kicking the ball (we later learned to turn her shorts around so the string was untouchable, but she did seem to better understand what was going on. A still doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body so she won't try to steal the ball from anyone and she is still has more interested in what is happening in the crowd than on the field.

| Calling her agent I suppose. |
So much rain this season!!
 |
| A quick pep talk from our teenage coaches. |
 |
| Uniform check |
 |
| She really did pull an Erkle move during this game, she kept telling us her shorts were falling down - they weren't. |
The girls had their games on Fridays and Saturdays, somehow the schedules were on our side so we didn't have to split up or miss any of the girls games. That does mean we were literally running between games, because the fields were a few miles apart.
 |
| Seriously - I want my snack. |
 |
| The player tunnel which P had no interest in after any of the games. |
As for next season we will see who plays, right now I am trying to convince Grant to coach the little kids, he is still "thinking" about it.
