Adelaide is officially in a state of shock over her teeth. At the same time we are battling a cavity issue at the dentist we are also dealing with a “wiggle it” aka a loose tooth. There were weeks of wiggling the tooth, talking about the tooth, whining about the tooth and then I had the brilliant idea to give her an apple for lunch. Oh boy was she mad!! The scream she let loose after her first bite made me so confused on whether or not to laugh or cry with her, but being the kind parent that I am you can imagine the roar of laughter coming out of me.
The apple trick did work and the next day the wiggle it "popped right out in the middle of the math test" at school. Apparently she stood up and started yelling about it and was so excited to go to the nurse to show her. The teachers had a good time telling us the story and did make sure to mention that A still managed to get an 80 on her test.
After taking pictures to send everyone and having a quick video chat with GG and Pap it was time to put the tooth under A’s pillow and wait for the Tooth Fairy to fly in her window and leave a surprise. The Tooth Fairy got good directions and successfully found the tooth and left a dollar in it’s place, so much pressure!
