Summer Party

Before we post pictures of the girls birthday party I thought it was important to talk about some of the other partying we did over the summer.  There were park parties, pool parties, big kid sleepovers and beach parties.  We also have to talk about the party that moved to Fleming Island.

 We have these great friends in Jacksonville that we love spending time with, but up until this summer we hadn't actually gone anywhere over night together.  That changed when Matt and Melissa invited us all to stay with them in Daytona.  We all showed up with a ridiculous amount of food and drinks and the kids had enough energy for all of us.  We spent practically all day on New Smyrna Beach too.  Two kids and a bunch of adults equals a lot of time in the water and under the sand.

 There was also a lot of game playing at the house which included a special visit from my college suitemate Catie.

 Oh and the pool parties we had!  Adelaide and Penelope's best buds are our neighbors Addie and Nathan who turned 4 this year.

 The party never stops at our house these days as the Mesick's have arrived in town.  We have added three new ladies to our address.  The first week was full of dance parties, the girls birthday party and getting ready for school to start.  Now we have turned into one big dysfunctional family of seven, yes I said seven and poor Grant is the only male.  Needless to say he spends a lot of time at work these days...
