After months of spending three days a week at the soccer fields soccer is officially over for the season and I can not wait to find out what there is to do on a Saturday that doesn't involve running around our house trying to find all of the parts to Adelaide's uniform.
We did not volunteer for an end of the year party this season, last year was fun but I will go ahead and say that part of the fun for me was because we had great parents on our last team and this year there wasn't as much bonding. A loved every minute of her party though, there was cake and every other kind of junk food she doesn't typically eat.
We will be taking a short break from after school activities in the Spring so that A can focus on her homework and because this mom has a bit of a hectic schedule at work. So for everyone's sanity we will now be saying hello to Saturday mornings in a different way.
