Just because we don't live in Knoxville anymore doesn't mean that Game Day isn't exciting in our neighborhood. Somehow we live in Florida and have gathered a tight group of Kentucky friends, no we don't understand either. Regardless we invited all of that ugly blue into our house for what ended up being a blowout which was awesome!! Secretly I'm pretty sure everyone wanted to leave at halftime, but the food we had was way too good to pass up AND it was Russ's birthday and we had a fabulous cake.

Grr turns 60!

Auntie K came to town for a visit.
In true Russ fashion he brought entirely too much food and everyone else did the same. We had ribs, chicken, pizza, sides and dessert out the wazoo. I do know that my work friends appreciate when we have parties because I smell nothing but leftovers down the hallway for days.

Watching UK kids eat these made me giggle every time.
"Lucky for us" as Adelaide says we do have some Big Orange Fans as friends and neighbors and I swear none of us rubbed the UK loss in too much.

It's a good thing this group is funny because that color was clashing with my house.

Love this girl despite the blue.
The problem with this victory post is that I know they aren't going to let me get away with missing the upcoming basketball game. In fact they were all so excited about basketball season they forgot to finish playing the football game we were watching, ha!
