I have to admit that I am a little nervous at the thought of Adelaide progressing with her athletic endeavors. At A's last game I was looking at the field next to us where the next age group plays and all that I could think is that those six year olds looked like tall monsters compared to my little girl. We have officially ended our third season of soccer and I am relieved to have my Wednesday evening and Saturday mornings back to schedule whatever I want. We know that as she gets older the schedule and skill will become more demanding, but for now we are letting Adelaide decide if she wants to continue to play. With that being said we loved the families on our team this year and the season did go quickly.
We enjoyed everyones company so much that we volunteered to host the team party at our house. Last season we had a quick gathering at the fields and since a lot of the team were repeat players we opted for a cookout this year.
