Life is just crazy sometimes and I don't know how we manage to cram everything into our days. When I take moments like this to go back through my pictures and try to catch up on the blog I am reminded of how much we do and that isn't even accounting for all of the events that we don't take pictures of and I end up forgetting about. Here is a little sneak peek of some of the normal events we squeeze into our weeks.
Work as a whole has been particularly challenging for Grant and I recently. This time of year is always rough for Grant at work and no matter how much you try to prepare his guys just can't beat the Florida heat. On my side of things there is very little that I can do to try and get ahead. The majority of my job is problem solving and trying to get that done quickly. Usually it isn't a problem except when the "issues" seem to keep happening in other states. Thankfully Grant is a huge supporter of my career so he makes a point to change his schedule in order to help me be able to pack a suitcase, jump in my work car and drive all over the place.

| On a run in South Carolina while on a work trip for a few days...did I mention I have taken up exercise? Oh yah, trying to cram that into the schedule as well, usually easier said than done. |
 |
| Part of our HR group at a team building event in Lakeland. |
 |
| Another work trip, this time to Savannah. I wish I could say that after all of the trips I take to this beautiful city that I could be a tour guide, but the truth is I spend all of my time in my stores and manage to grab something to eat and take it back to my hotel room before passing out. |
Weekends are all about the girls except for Saturday mornings from 9:30-10:30 when Grant and I get our butts kicked at the gym. There isn't a shortage of open houses, grand openings, bounce houses, community activities, parties and anything else you can think of for the little monsters.

| Grant has to have a little fun too, a little obstacle course action. |
The Mesick crew has now relocated to Louisiana, but before they did we had to get Penelope ready to go back to daycare full-time as she has been staying with her Aunt Net during the day. Our little pretty girl was so excited for her transition day back at daycare and her parents were really excited when she came home and slept like a rock all night long in her own bed.
More weekend happenings here...

| Couldn't resist, it was like sharing our childhood with the girls. |
 |
| Who doesn't enjoy a train ride? |
With everything shared in this post I would be remiss if I didn't talk about the relaxing moments of our lives too. We live in a great little suburb of Jacksonville which means we have the amenities of a larger city, but then there is that moment when you cross a bridge, see the boats in the water, take a deep breathe and say "yes, I'm home."

| On my little evening jogs before it started raining every night. This is the view at the end of my street. |
Every once in awhile Grant and I get to go out on a date night too. This time we took a cooking class with the theme being Argentina vs Brazil. Fabulous food and we actually learned a thing or two though we haven't actually put any of those tips to use yet. I should also mention that this was at the Publix Cooking School so I was able to cram a little work in at the same time, but Grant didn't mind, he was too busy eating to notice.
