Memorial Day Celebration

This Memorial Day I am excited to say that we celebrated with many military families that I am proud to call our friends.  We took a moment to have a simple backyard cookout, played with all of the kids, flew airplanes and drank a few beers.  A nice relaxing day to remember those that served in our Armed Forces and to celebrate those that are currently serving.
Everyone brought something to share.
Wahoo, they left the chips near the edge and I can reach.
What kind of party would it be without these two?
Newcomers to the party, we will see if we scared them away or if they come back.

From left to right: My Daddy flies P-3s in the Navy, My Mommy is a Doctor in the Navy and My Daddy is in the Reserves.  Proud little military babies.
Did someone say sugar?
Go ahead A, we know you are only going to eat the icing off of it anyway.

You should have seen her Mom's face when she turned the corner.
Navy pilot flying an Air Force plane, what can I say, it was all that they had.

Until next year...
