Happiest Friends On Earth

This family is blessed beyond words when we look at the friends and family that we have in our lives.  So when we get to go to the Happiest Place on Earth with some of our Favorite Friends on Earth, this family gets really excited.

Elizabeth, Jason and Kyler spent an entire week at Disney, but we only butted into their vacation for two days.  On our first day we went to Magic Kingdom.  After a few hugs for everyone and a shirt comparison for the kids (they matched thanks to Elizabeth), we were in line ready for our first ride.  A's favorite ride was the tea cups, Kyler's too and he knows how to spin the wheel all too well.

The kids were buddies quickly, I guess Adelaide forgot that the last time she saw Kyler he kept pulling her hat over her face.  There was hand holding between all three of the kiddies and true patience on every ones part when it came to waiting in line.  Next it was time for a little lunch with some special Disney friends.  Elizabeth booked lunch for us at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and all of his friends.  I'm pretty sure there was more picture taking then eating, because it was fun to see all of the classics though the kids probably didn't know who they were.  Penelope's fascination with noses continued, every time a character would bend down to her level she would poke them in the nose and start giggling.

At this point there was no standing still for photos.

All of this activity meant a nap was necessary for this family so back to the Hilton we went.  Three hours later and we were back on the shuttle for our night time fun.  We arrived in plenty of time to get a primo spot upstairs so that we could watch the electric parade below.  While we were waiting Jason was the hero because he bought each of the kids glowing gadgets.  This is also where A learned about Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  This Mommy has never seen the Electric Parade before so I may have been more excited when it started then anyone.

Thank goodness we picked a spot up high

Everyone was excited after the parade so we decided to make our move to another area to see the fireworks.  This is where we found out that A does NOT like fireworks.  This new phase of being scared of everything is getting old fast.

The positive of A not liking fireworks is that we were able to jump on a few rides while everyone else was in front of the castle.  After the rides it was dance party time with Goofy.  P was exhausted by this point, but this was probably A's favorite part of the day.

Here we are on the People Mover
We will have to dig this photo out again when they are teenagers and this type of activity is prohibited.

Go Goofy, Go Goofy

Ok, that's it we are all exhausted.  Off to the shuttle back to the hotel where there are sweet mickey dreams.
